Extend Now is a trading name of Gilmartin Ley Limited registered in England (registered number 2201161).
Founded in 1979 we are a family business of Chartered Surveyors and commercial property estate agents based in North London.
How do we collect personal information?
We obtain personal information about you through phone conversations, email exchanges, documents you provide, meetings and through visits to our website.
Sometimes this information is provided by a trusted third party eg a buyer of a property providing the details of his/her solicitor or a marketing research company.
What type of personal information is collected?
The information we collect may include (but is not limited to) your name / names, address, job title, email address, company / business names, telephone numbers, details of your property requirements, and the source of your introduction to Extend Now.
We collect bank account information for the purposes of making payments to our suppliers and to clients for whom we manage property.
Given we are involved in assessing the suitability of buyers and tenants for our clients’ properties we also receive bank statements and accounting information.
We do not store any credit card or debit card information. These sorts of payments are securely processed by our partner Sage Pay Europe Ltd.
The information we collect through our website using automated technical means includes: the Internet Protocol address used to connect your computer to the internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, identification number, online identifier and location data. We also collect information, via Google Analytics, about your website visit including which website pages are accessed and length of visits to pages. The information supplied to and received from Google Analytics is processed in a way that does not identify anyone personally.
Protecting your information
We use appropriate measures to protect the personal information that we collect and process about you. All information is stored on our secure servers within the UK and Ireland. Where we have given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so. This would include for relationship management purposes: we find it helpful for ourselves, our customers and other parties if we can identify where a contact of Gilmartin Ley has been in touch with the business in the past.
Monitoring of communications
We do not record telephone conversations but do make notes on our internal system relating to these.
We record email communications.
